Hello! I’m Kyaw (jaw), a mission driven designer with love for technology and passion for story-telling through animation.

Throughout Highschool, I worked part-time at a Unilever distribution center in Mandalay, Burma and I really enjoyed the work that I did . In 2021, a military coup occurred, and democratically elected government in my country was overthrew. I instantly knew that my future was bleak where I lived and left my country to come to the United States as soon as I graduated.

Coming to the US was not easy for me especially the Silicon Valley since everything was so expensive here. But, I watched a lot of tech documentaries and something in me really resided with improving people's lives. I thought I was going to be a game developer or animator but I soon realized there are so many problems in life that needs to be solved. So question arised, why don't I use the knowledge I gained from learning game development and animation to create tools that are delightful to use and products that help people. That is how I landed into Product Design.
